Welcome to the Heartland Baptist Network (HBN) website. We are a network of twenty-six churches, one Hispanic mission and one church plant. Our Network is proud to be affiliated with the Illinois Baptist State Association and the Southern Baptist Convention.

Exciting things have been happening in HBN. Many Churches in the Network send people to respond to disasters with HBN’s Disaster Relief Recovery. Disaster Relief Volunteers have provided help, healing and hope to victims of tornadoes, floods, and hurricanes in Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Louisiana, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, and West Virginia. Builders for Eternity (BFE) have blessed people by building handicap accessible rams in Sangamon County, rebuilding one house in Kincaid and West Virginia. The BFE has hung and finished the sheetrock at several Churches. The Advanced Team has developed a strategy to revitalizes churches.

We in HBN are praying for new church plants. Five areas potential church starts areas are Springfield, New Berlin, Pleasant Plains, Mount Pulaski, and Taylorville. Pray for these areas. We are praying that God will encourage people that live in those areas to allow us to start Bible Studies to reach their neighbors. We are praying that churches outside our Network will partner with us in prayer through canvassing, VBS, block parties, etc.

You may be looking for a mission opportunity and destination in a pioneer state. Please assist us as we attempt to strengthen and expand the Kingdom in the Christian, Mason, Menard, Morgan, and Sangamon counties.
